Nothing is recomputed when you pay. The whole report is written once, when the photo is read; the preview is the free part of it and unlocking shows the rest of the same text. A photo that cannot be read is never stored and never charged for.
What this is not
It is not an appraisal, and it is not a laboratory report. No section quotes a figure, and nothing here certifies a stone. The readings that would settle those questions — refractive index, specific gravity, spectroscopy — need the stone in someone's hand and a person accountable for the result. - Is this a subscription?
- No. Both options are a one-time purchase in USD. Nothing renews and there is no account to cancel.
- How long do unused analyses last?
- A year. They sit on the link in your receipt email and in the browser you bought them from, so opening that link on another device carries the rest of them across.
- Does paying make the answer more certain?
- No. Paying reveals the rest of the same reading; the confidence score is in the free preview precisely so you can see how far this photo goes before you buy. No report prices a stone or certifies anything, at any price.
- What if my photo cannot be read?
- Then nothing is charged. A photo too small or too dark is refused before an analysis runs, and a reading that cannot reach a family says so in the free preview.
